Both Spiritually and devotionally significant Thangal Para is a remarkable attraction in Vagamon. Situating at a height of more than 2500 feet above the sea level, it is famous for the unique rock formation on the top of a rocky hill. This huge spherical rock formation at the top of the hill houses the tomb of Sheikh Fariduddin, a Sufi saint from Afghanistan, which is a famous pilgrimage centre of Muslims.
